Accesso Technology Group has expanded its integration with PayPal to provide additional digital payment methods across its platforms.
The new implementation, available through the company’s accessoPay 3.0 system, adds support for Venmo, Pay Later, PayPal Credit, Pay in 3 (UK), and standard card payments, alongside the existing PayPal Checkout function. The update, says accesso, is designed to give venue operators more flexibility in how guests pay for tickets and other services.
According to accesso, the upgrade builds on an earlier integration of PayPal’s services, which allowed clients to accept payments through PayPal’s digital wallet. The latest rollout introduces financing and installment options, including interest-free payments in the UK, as well as mobile-first methods such as Venmo.
The company says the expansion responds to changing consumer payment preferences, particularly among younger audiences who favor app-based services.
PayPal will also appear as a Gold Sponsor at the upcoming accesso Client Conference 2025 in Orlando, Florida, where the company will showcase the expanded payment features.
“Consumer expectations are evolving rapidly, and it’s vital we empower our clients with the trusted, flexible payment options guests expect,” said Michael Wiggins, senior director, Global Services at accesso.
“This expanded collaboration with PayPal broadens our wallet offering to provide an even stronger commerce platform built for growth. It’s about giving guests more ways to pay - and giving our clients more ways to convert.”
accesso, listed on the London Stock Exchange’s AIM market, provides ticketing, point-of-sale, virtual queuing, and other guest management technologies to more than 1,200 venues worldwide.
