Valo Motion is set to offer new, original mixed-reality games for its ValoClimb, ValoJump and ValoArena platforms, with the content to be showcased at the upcoming IAAPA Expo Europe.

Exhibiting at IAAPA for the eighth time, Valo Motion has more than 220,000 of its games played daily across 1,350 installations in more than 75 countries.

Launched in April, the first of the new games is Photobomb - a mixed-reality experience for ValoArena that turns participants into celebrities on the red carpet. Competing to strike the craziest poses, players score maximum points by being the most visible “star” in each snapshot.

Next is Climball Legends - a climbing game introduced in May for the ValoClimb augmented reality climbing wall. A sequel to Climball, the game is an enhanced version of the original which is described as “pinball-meets-air-hockey-meets-climbing” as climbers outmanoeuvre their opponents and score goals.

Finally, Dunk It! was released in August, with the game utilising the ValoJump interactive trampoline platform to turn players into “slam dunk superstars”. Combining entertainment and physical activity, the immersive basketball-themed experience is suitable for both children and adults.

“By creating interactive, family-friendly games, we help operators boost guest engagement and repeat business,” said Raine Kajastila, CEO of Valo Motion.

“Players love our action-packed, fun gameplay, and operators benefit from increased foot traffic. It’s a win-win. We’re also committed to releasing new games for our mixed-reality platforms each year, ensuring these attractions stay fresh and continue to deliver value by attracting new visitors time and again.”

Returning to RAI Amsterdam in the Netherlands from September 23-27, IAAPA Expo Europe will welcome attractions professionals from across the world as they explore the event’s vast 18,500sq m (199,000sq ft) tradeshow floor.

Valo Motion will be showcasing some of its new releases at Booth #12250, with the new game releases available to test firsthand.
