Severn Lamb - a leading manufacturer of visitor transportation vehicles - has announced the acquisition of US company Trams International.
With a pedigree of more than 50 years of experience working with visitor transportation, the British-based Severn Lamb has even further strengthened its world-leading status with the acquisition of fellow market leader Trams International.
Supplying trams in the US and international markets for more than 35 years, Trams International is based out of Nevada and will be headed up by the company’s previous vice president and general manager, Newton Montano - someone who brings more than 30 years of experience in the South, Central and North American markets.
Now operating under the Severn Lamb banner, Trams International offers an extensive line of high-capacity people movers, including the purpose-built 6001 series with all-new environmentally responsible electric or ultra-clean diesel drivetrains.
Both companies were represented together for the first time at this year’s IAAPA Expo in Orlando, Florida. Following a successful show, clients and future clients held a number of meetings to discuss future projects with the company.
