Nintendo is bringing its biggest brands to cities across the US this summer with a free-to-visit special touring event offering fans a chance to immerse themselves in a number of its most popular IPs

Nintendo is set to tour the US this summer with its Play Nintendo event bringing the famous videogame brand and its various IPs to a number of locations throughout the country.
Featuring characters including Mario, Princess Peach, Donkey Kong and Pikachu, Play Nintendo invites families to explore Nintendo and its Nintendo Switch games system with a free-to-attend experience bringing them face-to-face with the popular brand and its characters.
Taking place on various dates from June 13 to September 2, the experience includes photo-ops with Nintendo characters, giveaways and playable demos of the latest Nintendo Switch games.
Among the entertainment on offer, a photo opportunity for Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD is included, while fans of Princess Peach can walk the red carpet and take the stage as Peach to save the Sparkle Theater with a demo of Princess Peach: Showtime!.
Guests will also be able to get their hands on several games, including Super Mario Bros. Wonder and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, while they can pose for photos with Pikachu as they learn about the Pokémon encountered in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet.
Among other demo games, visitors will be able to join Tom Nook and Isabelle from Animal Crossing: New Horizons for an island-themed photo-op.
In addition to game demos and photo opps, families can take part in personality quizzes, jumbo puzzles featuring Mario and friends, memory matching games and claw machines.
For those attending, they will receive a free Play Nintendo Tour passport. Using the passport they can collect stickers, which, if completed, will see them receive free Nintendo merchandise, including Play Nintendo bracelets, colouring pages and a Nintendo Switch Online 14-day trial code. Attendees with a Nintendo Account can also check in with My Nintendo at the event to receive a Super Mario themed gift item.
Play Nintendo launches In Salt Lake City, Utah, from June 13-16 before touring nine cities across the US, concluding its run at the Mall of America in Minneapolis, Minnesota, from August 30 - September 2.
