Paw Patrol to launch at Chessington with UK’s first themed land opening in 2026

Opening in 2026, the UK’s first Paw Patrol-themed land is set to bring Adventure Bay to life at Chessington World of Adventures, offering young families an immersive experience with rides, characters, and themed stays

The UK’s first Paw Patrol-themed land is coming to Chessington World of Adventures in 2026, following a landmark partnership between Merlin Entertainments, Paramount Location-Based Experiences, and Spin Master Entertainment, the studio behind the globally popular franchise.

Spanning 1.4 acres, the immersive land will recreate the world of Adventure Bay, complete with four rides – including a ‘my first rollercoaster’ – as well as several play areas, character meet-and-greets and dining and retail options. The development is part of Merlin’s ongoing strategy to partner with high-profile intellectual properties to deliver premium location-based entertainment experiences for families.

“The partnership reinforces our position as the preferred partner for the world’s most beloved brands and builds on our expanding offer to families with younger children, who are a key audience for us as part of our future growth plans,” said Merlin CEO Fiona Eastwood.

Merlin’s growing IP portfolio already includes brands like Minecraft and Jumanji, and this latest collaboration with Paramount and Spin Master marks a significant addition for the pre-school market.

Guests won’t have to wait long to experience Paw Patrol at Chessington. Beginning May 24, 2025, Chase, Skye, and Rubble will make appearances at the park as they ‘oversee construction’ of the new land. In summer 2025, Chessington will unveil five exclusive Paw Patrol-themed hotel rooms, the first of their kind in the UK, allowing families to extend the themed experience overnight.

From September 3 - 26, 2025, the resort will also host ‘Paw Patrol Autumn Adventure’, an interactive park trail featuring character meet-and-greets and access to 20 of Chessington’s preschool-friendly rides and attractions.
