Spain’s Tivoli World has been closed since 2020 following the emergence of Covid-19 but that might all be about to change with new a foreign investor is ‘very interested’ in relaunching the project and developing a ‘major attraction’ on the theme park site.
According to Area Costa del Sol, the local council is acting as an intermediary in negotiations, which could see existing attractions combined with shops, restaurants and a small hotel.
“There is a foreign investor who is very interested,” said Aguilera. “That is why the Benalmadena council has got in touch with the owner, the Tremon real estate group, acting as a liaison between the two to see what we can do to facilitate the opening of the park.”
