Is Kanye West planning to enter the attractions realm?

Rapper, record producer and entrepreneur Kanye West has set his sights on the attractions industry, having filed trademarks for his Yeezus brand related to the development of theme parks and theme park attractions.
As a brand, Yeezus, the name of West’s sixth studio album, is best known as a contemporary men’s fashion and streetwear label, however, West has filed 17 trademarks related to Yeezus, with various attractions related to theme parks included among these.
The filing with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) on May 27 shows a number of references to wider entertainment entities. These include amusement parks and centres, amusement arcades, children's entertainment and amusement centres, entertainment in the nature of an amusement park ride, metaverse experiences, virtual reality video production and augmented reality video production.
Aside from parks, the trademarking spree is widespread, with West also announcing his intention to create products based on beauty, toys, games, NFTs and clothing.
In 2021 the billionaire filed trademarks for audio speakers and tablets and this year said that he would be collaborating with McDonald’s to redesign its packaging.
According to West himself, Yeezus is about “finding beauty amid the chaos”.
