Halloween on the High Seas is set to return to Disney Cruise Line (DCL) this Autumn with a host of new one-of-a-kind experiences for the operator’s 2022 season.
Offered aboard select sailings from Miami, Florida, San Diego and New York City, the programming will include an all-new character meet-and-greet with Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck and Clarabell Cow, with the trio donning never-before-seen costumes, dressing up as The Sanderson Sisters from 90s classic Hocus Pocus.
Meanwhile, the Disney Wish, the latest addition to the DCL fleet, will debut a brand new Pumpkin Tree. Serving as the centrepiece on every DCL cruise ship during Halloween sailings, the tree has been given a Cinderella-inspired reimagining, with lighter bark, graceful branches and perfect gourds, including the pumpkin that became Cinderella’s enchanted coach.
DCL’s Halloween Isn’t Just For Kids programme will also see the adult-only venues across the fleet become ghoulish settings for costume competitions and ‘Villainous Takeovers’ on the dance floor
Finally, characters and guests alike will don Halloween costumes for an evening at Mickey’s Mouse-querade Party.
Other Halloween-themed activities include special themed food and drink, spooky movies on funnel vision in the staterooms and by the family pool and a ghostly takeover of the ship announcements.
