Leading trade body Experience UK is set to host a brand new conference in April.
Called ‘Experience on Main Street’, the conference will take place at Leicester’s Curve Theatre on April 25, 2023, and comes off the back of the success of Experience UK’s ‘Experience on the High Street’ market report, published in partnership with the Department for International Trade (DIT).
It will explore the changing dynamics of UK high streets and the retailtainment opportunities that could transform these spaces into multi-purpose experience destinations and bring together a diverse audience of leisure operators and developers, experience designers, architects, retail estate owners, central government and local authority officials, the one-day event will offer a comprehensive education programme with round table discussions, panel talks and keynote presentations.
Speakers will include Sir Peter Soulsby; Mayor of Leicester, Mike Dalzell; director of Culture, Tourism and Investment at Leicester City Council, Natalie Raben; CEO of We Are WaterLoo BID, David Twohig; founding partner of consultancy MurrayTwohig, and Robbie Jones; lead insight analyst at experience design firm and event sponsor Katapult.
The lineup is completed by several social opportunities, including a networking lunch and an evening mixer.
“Experience on Main Street is an exciting opportunity for industry leaders to come together and explore how the power of experience can drive innovation and success in the retail and hospitality sectors. We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone for an inspiring and hopefully rewarding day,” said Experience UK CEO Ian Clappison.
