World’s first Stingray waterslide opens in France

France’s O’Gliss Park has announced the opening of the world's first Stingray waterslide, with the attraction by Polin also earning the recognition of Europe's largest waterslide.

France’s O’Gliss Park has announced the opening of the world's first Stingray waterslide, with the attraction by Polin also earning the recognition of Europe's largest waterslide.

A four-lane eight-passenger, high-capacity racing tube slide, the new addition is designed to resemble the stingray it is named after.

After riders enter one of the four flume entrances, they slide through multiple interweaving paths that lead to two gigantic bowls. Each bowl features two distinct paths: one larger, longer and faster, and one smaller and shorter. The variety, says Polin, ensures a unique experience with every ride, encouraging repeat visits.

“We’re incredibly proud to partner with O’Gliss Park on this project,” said Sohret Pakis, brand ambassador for Polin Waterparks.

“The Stingray represents the pinnacle of our design and engineering capabilities, and we are confident it will provide guests with an unforgettable experience. We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our partner, Edsun, for their great support and collaboration in making this project a reality.”
