Richard Branson’s Virgin Galactic is close to officially opening its space tourism business to the public, with the firm’s final VSS Unity test flight to launch as soon as May 25 before its commercial service takes flight.

Richard Branson’s Virgin Galactic is close to officially opening its space tourism business to the public, with the firm’s final VSS Unity test flight to launch as soon as May 25 before its commercial service takes flight.
The launch of its public space flight service has been delayed multiple times, with Virgin aiming to have its first public flight in late June.
The mission, says Virgin, will test functionality and the “astronaut experience”.
Tickets retail at US$450,000 a head, with a US$150,000 deposit.
