V&A museum seeks Taylor Swift super fan as advisor

London’s V&A museum is on the hunt for an official adviser to share their knowledge of Taylor Swift.

London’s V&A museum is on the hunt for an official adviser to share their knowledge of Taylor Swift.

The museum is seeking a ‘Swiftie’ super fan to fill the role, so they can share their expert insights into the fan culture and memorabilia of the singer-songwriter, with particular interest in the craftsmanship behind handmade signs and friendship bracelets - something often swapped at her shows.

The Taylor Swift advisor would be one of a number of super fans working with the museum, with the institution already having advisors for Pokémon cards, Lego, Toby jugs and Gorpcore clothing.

“These new advisory roles will help us celebrate and discover more about the enormous, and often surprising, creative diversity on offer at the V&A, as well as helping us to learn more about the design stories that are relevant to our audiences today.” said the museum’s director, Tristram Hunt.
