New VR coaster set to open at Universal Studios Japan next month

Universal Studios Japan has revealed new information about an upcoming VR rollercoaster based on the upcoming film

Universal Studios Japan has revealed new information about an upcoming VR rollercoaster based on the upcoming film Nobita's Sky Utopia.

Called ‘Doraemon XR Ride: Nobita's Sky Utopia’, the VR coaster will take riders through the high-flying world of Paradapia. As they explore the setting of the film, they'll be guided by the cat robot Sonya. The tour, however, is interrupted by the bounty hunter Marimba.

The VR ride will open on February 23 but is only a temporary attraction. It will run until September 3 and takes the place of Space Fantasy – The Ride.
