Jordan’s Department of Antiquities (DOA), part of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, has been leading efforts to preserve the country’s heritage sites.

Tourism is a key driver of Jordan’s GDP, as a result, the DOA has launched several campaigns and initiatives to raise awareness and encourage communities to be active participants in conserving the country’s heritage.
