Madame Tussauds removes Kanye West waxwork

The Merlin-operated Madame Tussauds in London, UK, has removed a wax figure of Kayne West from display.

The Merlin-operated Madame Tussauds in London, UK, has removed a wax figure of Kayne West from display.

The move comes following the rapper’s decision to post anti-Semitic comments on his Twitter account, which has also seen Adidas end a lucrative deal with him.

The model of West, now legally known as Ye, has been moved to the museum’s archive.

“Ye's figure has been retired from the attraction floor to our archive,” said a statement from Madame Tussauds.

“Each profile earns their place at Madame Tussauds London and we listen to our guests and the public on who they expect to see at the attraction.”
