With the US opening to much of the world on November 8, anticipation is building for the biggest attractions show of the year - the IAAPA Expo in Orlando, Florida.
During the event, JRA vice president Shawn McCoy will offer his thoughts on “Emerging Trends in Immersive Design”. The session, co-presented with Cynthia Sharpe, principal, Cultural Attractions and Research at Thinkwell Group, takes place on Monday, November 15.
This year’s presentation focuses on how the past 18 months have changed the ways in which we all connect, communicate, think and feel while highlighting a variety of breakthrough projects that illustrate how new techniques and technologies are working together to create guest experiences that are equally memorable and meaningful.
“I’ve really enjoyed looking back on the last 18 months to see how so many museums and attractions have adapted to continue to serve their communities and guests,” said McCoy. I have been so impressed with their resourcefulness, creativity, and ability to embrace new ideas, especially under immense pressure. Their efforts have not only helped these institutions and destinations survive in the short term but have also introduced refreshing techniques and strategies that will enable them to thrive in the future.”
