A Danish giant is laying siege to the stonewalls of Warwick Castle in the UK, with the Merlin-operated heritage attraction introducing an eight-foot giant for its upcoming Dragon Slay summer event.
A costume weighing more than 100kg, the giant made his appearance with a battle against Guy of Warwick, as the knight showed off his jousting skills against the giant.
Guy is the centrepiece of Dragon Slayer, which utlises projection-mapping, live-action and horses to create an epic fantasy adventure. The giant is also a part of the show, which has entered its fourth year.
“The award-winning show is the pinnacle of our summer events offering, combining historical storytelling with breath-taking special effects to create a show that simply cannot be missed,” said Liam Bartlett, general manager at Warwick Castle.
Dragon Slayer begins its limited run on August 11, with the final performance taking place on August 20.
