Flamingo Land’s upcoming coaster Sik is one step closer to its launch after staff at the UK theme park were given the chance to experience the ride for themselves as part of ongoing testing.

Named in reference to the fashion label SikSilk, Intamin is behind the long-awaited attraction, which features a world record-equalling 10 inversions and reaches speeds of up to 52.8mph (85kmph).

The new attraction is set to open July 2, and features among its elements a 25m (82ft) loop, and special effects, including a waterfall, water cannons and fog effects.
