Columbus Zoo opens ‘Unextinct’ immersive experience

The spirits of extinct animals are roaming once again at Columbus Zoo, with the attraction in Ohio, US, launching a new immersive experience educating visitors on extinct and near-extinct animal species.

Launching today (March 14) and then running on select dates until April 27, the night-time spectacle uses projection technology to bring more than 70 species back to life across 15 areas. It's accompanied by a range of attractions, including an LED bar, retail, the 1914 carousel and the zoo’s 4D theatre.

Mangolin Creative is behind the experience which combines art, education, entertainment and environmental awareness to shed light on the importance of wildlife conservation.
