Interactive dark ride developer Alterface has unveiled Moviemax a new immersive theatre attraction concept set to “revolutionise entertainment on the go” at this year’s IAAPA Expo Europe.
Targeting fairs and other touring attractions, Moviemax is housed inside a container, which can be transformed into a 12-seat theatre in just two or three hours.
Themed to look like a vintage Hollywood movie theatre, with marquee signs, lights and ticket and photo booths, Moviemax offers a choice of four films and features 3D technology, as well as a variety of special effects, including wind, water, smoke and stroboscopes to immerse guests in the on-screen action.
Moviemax is set to debut at the Quinconces Fair in Bordeaux, France, in March 2024.
Alterface is exhibiting at this year’s IAAPA Expo Europe, which is currently underway at the Messe Wien Exhibition & Congress Center in Vienna, Austria. Visit Alterface at booth A-2805.
